Kyoto Part Deux

Next month, the Chicken Littles of Climate Change will descend on Copenhagen like a plague of locusts sent by the demon Pazuzu in the classic horror tale The Exorcist. They will seek to strong arm the world into giving up their sovereignty to the United Nations, who know what is best for us and so should be the ones to tell us what is best for the environment.

The last great meeting of the minds was in 1997 when the Kyoto Treaty was forged and signed by most nations. Luckily for us the United States was not so stupid as to buy into the scam. yes, our president signed it, but our Senate refused to ratify it. The actual treaty took effect in 2005. The proponents hail it as having worked well, and now want to expand / extend Kyoto with the Copenhagen version.

Well, then, let us take a look at just what Kyoto has done for us. From Heritage.org:

Even aside from the growing doubts about the seriousness of the global warming threat — the Kyoto Protocol or any other putative global warming solution is only a solution to the extent that a genuine problem exists in the first place — the Kyoto Protocol has failed to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.[1] Emissions are increasing in several signatory nations. In several more countries, emissions are declining more slowly than emissions in the U.S., which ironically is not a party to Kyoto.[2]

For example, according to U.N. data, the U.S. reduced emissions by 3 percent from 2000 to 2006, while the 27 European signatories increased their emissions by 0.1 percent.[3] Germany’s emissions declined by only 1.7 percent, while Canada’s emissions rose 21.3 percent.[4] European Environmental Agency data show that emissions increased in Austria, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, and Spain in the decade after the 1997 Kyoto Protocol.[5]

Yes, Virginia, there is a Global Warming Scam out there.

My Favorite Topic

Just when I think I cannot get any more good information about the scam known as Global Warming Climate Change, I come across an article that really gives me hope.

Firstly, while I am ecstatic about the revelation of scientific buffoonery, I want to go on record as believing that the culprits who stole the data need to be arrested and prosecuted. (Ok, I am rooting that they don’t get caught. After all, sometimes you have to have a recon group go deep into enemy territory to find what you need. But they DID break the law, so I will not feel sorry if they get arrested.)

For those who don’t know what I am talking about, it seems that hackers broke into a prominent CLIMATE CHANGE group’s email system. In there were damning messages and documents that showed how those inside tried to manipulate the data and outright lie in order to promote AGW and to squeeze out dissenters.

Good. Let the battle rage on. I have no doubt that the authors of those letters will cry foul and say the messages were falsified.

The Hits Keep On Coming

The administration today announced that it has plans to push through “Comprehensive immigration reform” before the mid-term elections. Gosh, I wonder what the hurry is? Perhaps it is the tanking numbers of Glorious Leader and his failing policies? They are, in the spirit of Cloward and Piven, overwhelming the system in order to beat down any opposition.

Healthcare, Cap and Tax, Immigration, federal takeover of industry, massive spending and debt. As much as we may be getting sick and tired of the constant pressure, as much as we may want to just say to hell with it and say screw the country- if they want it like that then let them have it- as much as we may feel overwhelmed (exactly what they want) now is not the time to lessen our effort. It is the time to re-double them.

I refuse to let my country go the way of the European failed states. I refuse to let those elected officials who don’t care one bit about our future turn it into a welfare state for the world. The road is going to be arduous and painful. We have suffered losses, but we are seeing the beginning of a turnaround. Even if these horrific polices are enacted, remember that if we can regain control we can reverse them.

KSM- Coming To A City Near You

Khalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM), the mastermind behind the 9-11 attacks and the murder of 2,996 American citizens, is being brought to the United States for a civilian trial.  Yes. A CIVILIAN trial.

What the hell is going on? Is this now a police action? If so, why the hell are we wasting our troops? Why don’t we gather up all of our traffic cops and ship them to the battlefield? Maybe if we issue a few parking violations to the Taliban they will change their murderous ways.

This guy is not a civilian. He planned and executed the most deadly attack on Americans ever.  He should just be executed. When he was found, he should have been tortured for information and then dumped into the river. He is worth nothing more.

Call me a hater. I am. When it comes to evil like this, I am extremely prejudiced. He deserves nothing more than contempt from me. The fact that he is being brought here is yet another example of how weak we are becoming. He will be a martyr, something I am sure he relishes.  His comrade, Nidal Hassan, the terrorist who slaughtered 14 innocent people (did you forget the unborn child that was killed as well?) and wounded 29 others said it best when he told a group of Army members that “we love death more than you love life.” I have no doubt that KSM would love to be made a martyr in the name of his god.

Be wary, New York, the jihadist is coming to a city street near you. Thank your government officials (who are following Glorious Leader’s policies) for the people who are going to be under threat of death when this farce of a trial begins.

Thoughts Of Hood

UPDATE: Clerk County Politics has it right

I have been thinking about what I feel following the attack at Ft. Hood. I thought about it, thought about the soldiers, their wives and children, their families. I thought of the family of the shooter, of other veterans like me and what they are going through. I have listened to the media jump right in and say “not to be hasty in deciding if it is a terrorist attack.” I heard the president – the same one who jumped right in and called police out when they “acted stupidly” in arresting a belligerent friend of his for acting even more stupidly – say that we should not “jump to conclusions” until all of the facts and evidence are weighed.

After all of that, I have come to one resounding thought:

FUCK the shooter. He is a Muslim murderer. He sought to contact known terrorists. He spoke about infidels warranting getting their throats slit. He spoke hate about America. He purposefully killed 13 soldiers and wounded nearly 30 more. Why is their no cry of anger and denunciation from C.A.I.R.? Where are the Imams and their vocal cry of rage at this horrendous TERRORIST act?

They claim to be the religion of peace. Why do they not promote it? Why do we cater to their demands? Why are we so afraid? Why do we maintain our Politically Correct attitude? Where is our BIG STICK? Try and execute this asshole in one day. It won’t bring back the dead, but the living will have some sense of vengeance. I am not one to call for violence, but an eye for an eye.
