The Force Is Strong

UPDATE: They are unhinged to the point of becoming tin foil hatters. Now they want lefties to take our picture to prove we are being paid.

The elite media and those who serve them are becoming unhinged. Remember one of the cardinal rules found in Rules For Radicals – Ridicule your enemy. Having ridicule thrown in your face is hard, because there is no real way to argue the point. You can argue the point of no big government. You can argue the point that global warming climate change is not man made. You can argue the point that illegal immigration is very, very bad for the country.

But argue them calling you a doodie head? Calling you a tin foil hatter or birther? How do you argue that? The conversation goes from making the points above to defending yourself. Once you start down that road, you are on a slippery slope. You are in danger of invalidating everything that you and others are working to achieve by letting your emotions overwhelm your intellect.

Don’t let the media drive the conversation. In the famous words of Red Leader speaking to Luke Skywalker as they entered the final approach to the Death Star, “Stay on target.”

With all of the laser cannons blasting at them, trying in vain to swat the gnat-like x-wings “Stay on target.” They cannot get us with the broad sweeping rhetoric, so they have taken to sending out imperial tie-fighters to attack us individually. Stay strong. Stay on point. Do not fall for their side-bar engagement. The fact that the mouthpiece media and Democrat leadership are beginning to attack, personally, those who are dissenting means that we have struck a nerve and they are afraid.

We are here to stay. The force is with us. Stay on target.

On a completely unrelated note, these are the people we are supposed to trust with our country?

I Offer A Cannot Lose Bet

Katrina Pierson, a speaker at the recent Dallas, TX Tea Party on April 15th, has issued an invitation to Janeane Garofalo. She would like the liberal loud mouth to attend the July 4th event and see just what the people are talking about.

I would like to bet that Ms. Loudmouth will decline the invitation. After all, July 4th is a time to celebrate the founding of America. It does not fit with her vision of destroying America and making it one big government-run state. Besides, according to Garofalo, we are all mentally deficient and imbeciles. We have something inherently wrong with our thought processes that makes up incapable of rational thought.

On second thought, she just might come, if we bill it as a Mental Special Olympics. After all, the left seems content with using underpriviledged as stepping stones to getting what they want.

Tea Parties Considered A Bust

By everyone but those who believe in the right to dissent, who want the government to get off the bullet train to hell and start listening to the people.

Of course, in Rhode Island, people said the same thing- until the unhinged mob descended on city hall and forced them to changed their vote and to vote down a new tax on the people to pay for public schooling.

Imagine that. We The People followed the constitution and actually got results.

Millions Gather In Protest

I am a math guy. I am NOT a Mathematician. I am not that good. However, I DO know that thousands of people gathered in protest on Tax Day, April 15th.

According to some, when liberals count their protesters, if they reach six figures it means they have a MILLION folks involved. With that logic, this means that we can officially call our event the MILLION TAXPAYER MARCH.

Ok, I don’t totally agree with that, but I would like to offer some analysis based on my limited knowledge. When pollsters go out and talk to people, get feedback and then crunch numbers, they are extrapolating out to get an estimate of the true value. That’s why they call elections long before the election booths close. By interviewing a few, they get the trend and make their prediction.

I would offer that because these tea parties happened in the middle of the week, for every person who attended there were a half-dozen OR MORE who could not. Using this logic, which is no better or worse than the ‘six figures means a million’, we had MORE THAN a million people who attended and/or supported the cause.

Additionally, I was personally appalled at how the media portrayed those who attended. Anderson Cooper, whose show is one of the few on CNN I have watched with any regularity, lost my viewership for anything he may have on from now on. Does one viewer break them? Nope. But I believe principles matter and so I boycott him. As well, Keith Over-the-top, Rachel Maddog and dozens of other slander hounds felt the need to belittle the effort. Why? What is the fear?

I believed in the war and why we went there. I think those who protested soldiers’ funerals were anti-American slugs who don’t deserve to live in this country. I believe that all illegal aliens should be deported, their children born here included because they are putting an unmanageable burden on our resources. And don’t give me the liberal crap about “Its for the children.” I feel sorry for the kids, but the fact remains that their parents are not from our country and our system cannot split families.

I know that does not follow our current Constitution, but that is my OPINION. I think that the Constitution should be amended to clarify that to be a citizen you have to be born on our soil (or places owned by the USA, such as military bases) and one of your parents must be a legal citizen of the United States. Many illegals come to the USA to have their children and thus get into the system and freeload off of hardworking people.

But I do not recall anyone in the EXTREMIST RIGHT WING media belittling them. They reported it. The commentators took issue with those who protested and shouted hate speech at dead soldiers, but while they took issue, they did not resort to childish denigration. Of course, that might explain why EXTREMIST RIGHT WING media is trouncing the rest. In fact, FOX viewership trounced EVERY OTHER MEDIA OUTLET COMBINED. I guess that is root cause of the liberal outcry. They are upset that they suck ass and FOX is the preferred network.

Of course, that is my OPINION.

April 15th has traditionally been looked at with dread by many people. It is the day when the taxman cometh and taketh away all our hard earned wealth. Not to sound all EXTREMIST or anything, but has ANYONE ever found the law that says we are REQUIRED to pay Federal Income Taxes? After all, if the CONSTITUTION says that the only taxes authorized to be levied are direct (which must be apportioned- i.e. equal for all) and indirect (which are taxes on items that can be avoided, like gas and tobacco) then where are Federal Income Taxes (which are graduated, based on income) authorized?

Answer? They are not. We are not required by LAW to pay them. Of course, in saying so I shall now be toted off to a re-education camp, labeled a radical right-wing extremist and/or written off as a loon. Still, if you have the law available, may I read it? After that I will bring it to the Supreme Court, who has ruled numerous times that the Federal Income tax is not in law anywhere. Well, technically, they say that the 16th amendment never gave congress power to levy NEW forms of tax- i.e. Federal Income Tax. (And one district court judge, in 2003, commented that the amendment has never been properly ratified by the states!)

So any help you can give is appreciated. The more who visit and comment, the more I learn. So help me out here!

I hope to see you in Orlando today. It is going to be an EXTREMIST EXTREMELY great time.

Proof Positive Of Media Complicity

UPDATE: I saw a brief commentary on Channel 13 News from 6-7. It lasted about 15 seconds and was the anchor with no follow up. Also, FOX 35 emailed me a response that they had reported it. Obviously it was quick, as I missed it totally. If they did report it, I apologize. It would have been nice to see a total coverage of the party.

I live in Orlando. I attended the Orlando Tea Party today and I was AMAZED at the sheer numbers of people who were there with me.

NOT ONE LOCAL MEDIA station or paper (that I am aware of) covered the event or even mentioned it on their websites. Was there ever any doubt as to the media’s role in covering up the garbage going on around us?

IDIOTS.

Nine Year Old Steals The Show

Did you attend the Orlando, Florida Tea Party? If you did, then you know as well as I that the highlight was not the host Bud Hedinger, or internet radio blogette Andrea Shae King, any of the many fine speakers gathered, nor even Lloyd Marcus, creator of the theme song An American Tea Party.

No, what was most exciting was the Freedom Forum, where average, everyday people got the chance to stand up and make their voices heard. There were many passionate and patriotic speeches made (each one within the thirty second time limit) but in my opinion there was one that took the cake.

Nine year old Chelsi stood up there and proudly stated her case, “I’m an nine year old girl. I don’t have a job yet. So stop taking my money when I haven’t even earned it yet!”

A raucous crowd of some 5,000 erupted into cheers at that simple statement and my own heart filled with pride. It was, after all, my own daughter who had made the comment. I could not have felt more pride in my child than I did right then (though I have to admit I am proud of all of my children in every thing they do).

The event was a massive success, I believe, and we were sad to have to leave about a half-hour before the closing ceremony. Even so, the comraderie I felt with all of those gathered was extremely moving and I had the sense that this was the beginning of the revolution I have so proudly tagged in the closing of all of my blog posts.

If you did not attend, never fear. There are many places to meet like-minded fellows and I am hopeful that these first seeds of dissent will spark many others to have similar, if a bit smaller, events. Every journey begins with a single step, and the Orlando Tea Party was one great step today.
