Eco-Nuts Of The Great Northwest

So, I understand how people want to limit pollution. But I ask you this:

Which is better? Wasting a precious natural resource or going over-kill in an effort to protect it?

I guess we will have to ask Washington State, where most forms of dishwasher detergent are banned because they are harmful to the sensitive ecosystems around the state. Because of the ban, people are finding that their dishes are not getting clean and they are forced to waste even more water to wash them by hand.

I say we kill the entire dishwasher industry as well as the dish detergent industry, Force them all to get ‘green’ jobs because as we all know, going green is the only way we will save the polar bears that are not really dying off in great numbers, but it makes for better T.V. if we say they are.

Give me a break. And people wonder why the prices of things are going through the roof? Keep the government’s hands off of everything. I don’t care what they want, if the touch it, they screw it up.

New Federal Committee Will Decide Healthcare

I know. That sounds totally Orwellian, doesn’t it? Why in the world would anyone want to create a governing body that decides if you can get treatment or not? Or, better yet, if the treatment cannot cure you and will only prolong the inevitable, you can be cut off.

Totally sick, yes? Yeah. I agree.

For those who voted for Obama, thanks. The very language mentioned above is part of the now-passed stimulus package.

You wanted HopenChange, well, you got it.

Stupid Congress Forces Bankruptcy

It seems to me, that the more the United States Federal Government tries to help, the worse they make things. I have ranted about the flood of money being used to artificially support our economy, a plan so idiotic that only our elected officials would want to try it – and thus be able to blame everyone else when it fails, because the dissenters blocked their ability to spend even more and so it was Conservatives’ fault for putting the idea of of fiscal responsibility and small government into everyone’s head so even though massive entitlement programs have failed many times before we were sure we had it right this time, until it didn’t work again but it’s not our fault, it’s…it’s… Bush!

Whew!

However, this new government regulation is something that is incredibly MORE stupid; a regulation that could potentially bankrupt a whole host of businesses.

But as I look at it, I realize that it is all part of a grander scheme. By pretending to ‘help protect children’ no matter the cost, when this new regulation forces business to close their doors, the former employees will become dependant on government handouts. Thus, our new congress will have job-security.

Although, the 600,000 new federal employees, employees we taxpayers will need to fund forever, should have been enough to satisfy even the most hardy liberal, big-government glutton.

I guess not.
