Transparency? Hardly

I am willing, now, to say openly that Barack Obama is a lair and a thug. Everything he says is a twisting and perversion of what he truly intends. He only says what the huddling masses want to hear.

Well, this Idiot-In-Charge is getting his ass handed to him on his various ‘reforms’. (More like nation-killing if you ask me). People are slowly but surely waking up. From tea-parties to congressional phone-ins the people of our country are letting the criminals in Washington D.C. know exactly what they think of them.

Obama promised transparency, yet at every turn he shields the truth. I am not a birther, but the fact remains that he has spent thousands upon thousands of dollars preventing the release of any and all records. This includes his birth, school, passports, et al. When will we see transparency? He circumvents the process by assigning un-elected people to ‘czar’ posts. These people wield great power in their respective areas and report only to the president. When will we see transparency? While not completely unusual, he is hiding the release of the budget mid-year report. It is sure to have some very troubling numbers in it, yet he refuses to release it until sometime in September. Perhaps he wants to pass healthcare and cap and trade before America has a conniption fit. When will we see transparency?

The only thing that is becoming relatively transparent about this criminal Obama is that he is hell-bent on taking complete control. Shades of Honduras, folks. Which is why, in my opinion, he is looking very intently at the outcome. He is taking notes for the day when he, too, will seek to violate our laws and get himself permanently placed.

Think it cannot happen? Neither did 1930’s Germany.

Who Let The Dogs Out

There is a reason our government was established as it was. Our founders knew that people in power could very easily be corrupted by that power. So, in an effort to prevent that from happening, they created three distinct branches of government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial). Each branch held its own powers and served as a check to the others. Of course, as time has gone on some rather ideological people grabbed more power for themselves or gave up power to other agencies, but for the most part the system has held firm.

The recent power grabbing by Glorious Leader and his cronies is frightening. Instead of nominating various Secretaries to run agencies- rather, in addition to nominating- who would then require Senate confirmation and would answer to congress, Obama has taken to appointing Czars that report only to him, but hold as much sway over agencies as the Secretary presumed to head the department. Why appoint a Border Czar if you have a Department of Homeland Security?

Dissent is out there. People are screaming, but no one is listening. Now, the watch dogs who are set up as independent overseers of the money trail are disappearing at an alarming rate. If the Inspector General for a particular area cries wolf, pointing out some discrepancy or abuse of public funds, they find themselves on the short end of a pink slip. While America is still a free country, and we can still speak our minds and hearts, I would like to ask a very simple question:

How long before our voices are silenced? You say it cannot happen in this country, but we are lazy, fat and spoiled. We have lost all will to stand and fight for our freedoms, saying rather that It’s no big deal, it doesn’t affect me. Florida recently enacted a law that says police can now stop and fine you if they see (or think) that you are not wearing a seatbelt. Is it good to wear one? Yes. Will it save lives? Probably. But where do we draw the line at intrusion and control?

Make your voice heard. Call congress. Attend rallies. Blog. Meet with your friends and air out your concerns. It is the only way to try and recapture our Republic.

Coming To A Healthcare Facility Near You

Healthcare is just the latest in a long line of emergencies that the administration is using in an effort to try and ram through another budget busting ‘reform’ program. The size and scope of this abortion of common sense has even some liberals backing off. Public outcry by the Conservative base has drawn a lot of attention from the usually deaf and blind congress, including members of both sides of the isle.

The sales pitch by Glorious Leader and his cronies- for all of their power grabbing proposals – typically includes some heart wrenching story. They typically say …it is for the children. If you are against them then you must be against children and therefore a heartless ogre with nothing but greed in your veins.

Remember S-CHIP? That program supposedly was for the children, but the term child included kids up to the age of 30. President Obama used the child argument to get a heavy tax put on tobacco. Shortly after, the federal government took direct control of regulating all tobacco products. Imagine that. It was inevitable, though, because they need to control the industry in order to collect adequate revenues to fund the program. I ask you, though, what happens when people who smoke say enough is enough? Where will they get the money from then? Use your imagination. I shouldn’t have to tell you.

If you would like to see just what is coming your way under the proposed healthcare program, you only need look at the system in the Chicago Medical Center. Coincidentally, First Lady Michelle Obama used to be a top executive there (a job, coincidentally, that was created for her right after her husband was elected to the Senate and held sway over some big grant money, and which has not been refilled once she left for the White House) and was thew driving force behind the ‘reform’.

The bottom line of the program is that low-income, uninsured and predominantly minority patients were ‘redirected’ to other heath facilities. The premise is that people would receive better care. The actuality is that those places to where the patients were redirected lost money because folks were uninsured while Mrs. Obama’s hospital was able to treat the more lucrative insured patients.

All Hail The Czar of Czars

I have lost count at the numerous czars that Glorious Leader has appointed to run things. Below is a partial list based on what I can recall seeing in the media:

Drug Czar
Pay Czar
Border Czar
Energy Czar
Faith Czar
TARP Czar
Stimulus Czar
Health Reform Czar
Terrorism Czar
Gitmo Czar
Urban Czar

Now we even have a FOOD CZAR, who will dictate to us how much and what to eat, how much to exercise, dictate screenings, etc. What the hell? I am a free man. I will continue to eat and NOT exercise as I see fit.

I know that there are more, but right now I am drawing a blank. Regardless, he has appointed more Czars to run the country than the Russian royalty did back in the 17th Century. What is not being said by any news media (I don’t count Beck, O’Reilly or Hannity as news though they report more that any true news group) is that these Czars wield more power than the Secretaries supposedly running the industry they are appointed to.

For example, we have a Health and Human Services Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius (ugh!) who was duly appointed and confirmed by congress. She is responsible to congress to be open and transparent in her activities and sits on the president’s cabinet. Thus there is, in theory(!), oversight of her industry. But then we have this Health Reform Czar who wields executive power in the same industry, is vetted or confirmed by no one and who is responsible to no one but Glorious Leader.

How much circumventing of the law and constitution is going to occur before the King of Czars is shown for what he is: a fraudulent IDIOT who has no clue how to fix problems, but sure as hell knows how to coerce and strong-arm his way into destroying the last of the principles and values upon which our country was founded. BHO needs to go. I have never been in a situation where I felt such animosity toward the president of my United States, but the damage being done by this political pinhead is going to take decades to undo. And to be honest, I don’t think we have decades.

A New Governmental Start-Up Business

UPDATE: Cronyism In The Dealerships Getting Closed
So your United States Government, never content with sitting on its laurels, has decided to get pro-active in this economy. According to most (in government) this is the worst it has been since the Great Depression. We need to act, act quickly, and act boldly. Which we did.

Now, however, we have taken a whole new step. We are now have our very own start-up business, called (per Michelle Malkin) GovMo. This is short for Government Motors.

Yes, folks, we now own some 70% of General Motors. As a first step we closed many dealerships. Some say we targeted those who supported the GOP more than those who supported Obama, but that is just hearsay. Well, OK, statistically, the numbers were found to be serious outliers, but the administration assures us that they were fair and equitable in determining just who got the ax. As well, those pesky GM guys who said that cutting dealerships was a bad idea (who will move our inventory?) but the White House called the shots on who got closed, should just be ignored. They are, after all, just disgruntled employees.

Add to that the notion that we have a 31-year old guy who almost graduated Yale in charge of the whole operation and you see that the current White House administration is all over this. They know what is best for you and I so just sit back and enjoy the ride.

They say that 30%-40% of new businesses fail after five years. Lucky for us we have all of this money to pump into our new start-up. Something tells me that the government will make damn sure this one does not go bankrupt. After all, the billions they put into it (because it was an emergency that we save this dying business and prevent bankruptcy) has worked wonders thus far.

Office Of Social Innovation Is Now Official

Yes folks, since there are not enough non-profits already, since this administration obviously knows better than ayone how best to organize a recruiting effort, and since…

…well, since there is $50 million in spare tax dollars lying around we are now happy to announce the Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation…

..Civic Participation? Oh, yes. That whole mandatory volunteering thing. The new office will be spearheaded by none other than Sonal Shah, of the… well… I am not really sure who, but she once ran the global arm of Google so she must be knowledgeable and energetic and on board with the whole capitalism, free market thing…

…except that she is, actually, pretty anti-west and whose father was one of the more extreme Hindu folks around. Not that he would have any influence on his daughter, so I won’t say guilt by association, though her continued anti-American speeches meant to rile up the youth of India are a bit disconcerting.

As well, this ‘Social Innovation Fund’ brought about by the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act- remember that? No? Again, that whole mandatory volunteering thing in all of its 1000+ pages of glory, mentions the Youth Villages…

..what are those? Oh. yes. I remember. That is the long-ago mentioned civilian security force that is funded as well as the military to help provide protection to American citizens.

Didn’t Al Capone and other mobsters like him offer something much similar to people? Nice to know the mob is alive and well and serving in our hallowed congressional halls.

Obama Uses Car Dealerships To Illegally Punish GOP Donors

Yes, you did not hear me incorrectly. I said it. Of the thousands of car dealers being FORCED TO CLOSE by the United States Government, a vast majority of them where heavy donors to the Republican party.

Think it insane? Think again. The initial reporting can be found here. I only hope that the initial results do not pan out. For if they do, when the rest of the country is nationalized, I hope you were a great big Obama Bot. If not, you are sure to lose your business.

I really wish those of my friends who voted for this guy could explain to me if (and why) they still like what he is doing. Long ago I thought maybe to give him a chance. But more and more every day I LOOK for signs of his administrations’s (and congress’) corrupt practices. And, trust me, they are not difficult to find.

South Park Explains It All

The Wall Street Journal opinion section has cracked the secret code of the Obama Administration policies. I, personally, had been looking for it using such tried and true methods as the Batman Decoder ring, Forked Tongue Method and the Clueless Idiot cryptography methods, but nothing fit for every instance.

So, it was either multiple codes being used, or my meager investigations were missing some vital piece of the puzzle. It seems that the answer is the latter, for the methodology and explicit descriptions given by the WSJ peg the policy pronouncements exactly. My hat goes off to them for being the first to break the code. (Can anyone say Windwalkers II, The Wrath of Rahm?)

The key to the cypher? South Park Gnomes.

I know it sounds impossible that a South Park episode from 1998 could play such a key role in decrypting this Administration’s policies, but once you read the article, you will be enlightened and entertained all at once.

Here is an excerpt:

What’s the big idea? The gnomes explain:

“Phase One: Collect underpants.

“Phase Two: ?

“Phase Three: Profit.”

Lest you think there’s a step missing here, that’s the whole point. (“What about Phase Two?” asks one of the kids. “Well,” answers a gnome, “Phase Three is profits!”) This more or less sums up Mr. Obama’s speech last week on Guantanamo, in which the president explained how he intended to dispose of the remaining detainees after both houses of Congress voted overwhelmingly against bringing them to the U.S.

The president’s plan can briefly be described as follows. Phase One: Order Guantanamo closed. Phase Two: ? Phase Three: Close Gitmo!

Perhaps this explains Glorious Leader’s ‘mater of grave concern’ comment regarding North Korea’s nuke test the other day?

Let The Sun Shine, Let The Sun Shine In

Unless you are a member of the most open, ethical and transparent congress (administration) ever. In that case, close the blinds, draw the shades, tint the windows and run for the closet.

For those who voted for this pinheaded group, would you mind if I gave you a hearty One-Fingered Salute? You have SO screwed us beyond anything you can comprehend. But, then, I don’t expect you to listen, what with all of this extra tax break money flowing your way, or the TARP and Stimulus funding you have managed to procure. As they say, the end justifies the means.

Glorious Leader and his thug cronies are willing to open up our entire central intelligence effort to the world, but they refuse to show the images taken while aboard Air Force One during its panic-inducing fly-by? Maybe that is because there were never any pictures taken? Maybe it is just because someone wanted to take it for a joy ride and our King Corrupt-o-crat said sure, why not? Prove me wrong. No tin-foil-hat arguments. If I am wrong, I will admit it. But I don’t think you will ever be able to prove me wrong because they will never release the photos (that don’t exist).

I just don’t get how you can justify the ending of our country as the founders wanted it. Weird.
