Homeland Security Targets Conservatism

UPDATE: The American Legion doesn’t like this any more than the rest of us do.

I am a Conservative American.

I believe that it is my duty to ensure my children live a better life than I did; it is NOT THEIR duty to pay so I can live beyond my means.

I believe that life begins at conception. Abortion is murder in the eyes of God- and me.

I believe that the current policies being enacted by our current government are designed to undermine my rights as a citizen and enslave everyone to a one-world, government-owned state.

Because of these beliefs, the Department of Homeland Security now targets me and others of my viewpoint as “Rightwing Extremists”. Under cover of a lie- a lie that says they have done the same for “Leftwing Extremists” they have published a report dictating just who we are and what we stand for (and against).

To make matters scarier, they are even planning to do in-dept study to see just were in teh country the most radicalized people are found.

Big government is good? If you were afraid of what Bush was doing to our constitution, then you should be petrified of this.

I Was Wrong And I Apologize

I owe my readers (both of you) an apology. A few days ago I posted about the coming nationalizations, running from the banks to the auto industry to health care and beyond. I pointed out that I thought that due to the Cap n Trade policy being instituted our Energy industry would begin to fail and thus require (well, not require but it would be forced) federal intervention.

I totally missed an industry and it is a BIG one. Now, Timmy “Tax Cheat” Geithner has announced that the TARP money will now be extended to failing insurance companies. Here in Florida, State Farm has elected to drop home coverage due to costs and the inability to pay out. Will they now get ‘help’ from Uncle Nanny? If so, here is your next nationalization possibility.

Imagine that. Insurance AND Health Care run by the government. I am seriously getting ready to pee my pants here!

No Such Thing As Baby Steps

From the NYT today:

The House and Senate approved budgets of about $3.5 trillion for the government on Thursday with no Republican support, a sign of deep partisan tensions likely to color Congressional efforts to enact major policy initiatives sought by President Obama.

On the heels of House approval of its spending plan for 2010, the Senate voted 55 to 43 shortly before midnight to adopt a similar budget after a day spent laboring over politically tinged amendments that did little to change a fiscal blueprint generally in keeping with Mr. Obama’s ambitious agenda.

So there we have it. This congress has just spent more money in one shot that the entirety of budgets since the United States was founded. They are spending so much money that France and Germany say we are spending too much money. I fear for my nation’s future, because with everything that is contained in the proposal our economy is going to be driven into the sewer. Nationalized Health Care, Nationalized Banks, Nationalized Auto Industry, Nationalized Energy, deep cuts in the military; if you are not having buyer’s remorse at voting for Glorious Leader you are stupid and foolish. He has managed to accomplish in less than three months what the Soviet Union had been trying to do for decades- he has brought us to the brink of destruction.

I don’t mean armageddon, fire and flames, holocaust destruction. I mean something much worse. I mean that everything that our fathers and forefathers have done to make this the greatest nation on the planet is being erased. Our liberties are vanishing under the proposal of a global government. Our constitution will no longer give us our sovereignty, but rather it will relegate it to the status of a ‘local guideline’ by which we make our local laws.

Empty Suit and his fellow conspirators are driving the bus to TransNationalization faster than anyone ever imagined. Nationalized Banks, Nationalized Health Care, Nationalized Auto Industry, Nationalized Energy, deep cuts in defense spending, soon our laws and edicts will be under the scrutiny of a world body and if they do not like it, we will adapt to meet with their satisfaction. It is coming. The winds are ripe with the smell of rot and decay and the Eagle is choking back the tears in an effort to stay aloft. I pray for God to help us; and the scary thing is that I asy it with the utmost sincerity. Gird your loins, brother, the buss is barreling towards the intersection.

Asshats In Government

Michelle Malkin called it correctly. There are certainly some prominent asshats trying to ruin our sacred land, and if we do not take a stand they will succeed. I have no doubt that these IDIOTS sit in their offices and chuckle at just how gullible and uninformed the vast majority of people are out there.

Up next into the croissfire is Connecticut Attorney General Blumenthal. This is the guy who is on a mission to extort, by any means possible, the bonuses paid to the AIG executives. The reason he gives is the most laughable, and actually the most frightening of any I have yet heard:
“Because they are undeserving of it.”

So now the government decides who is deserving and who is not? Like them or not, those men and women were under contract. What would happen to modern day pro sports if every athlete had to return his or her salary because they were not ‘effective’ in their endeavors? Granted, some of them SHOULD give them back but are you willing to say with 100% accuracy that they are undeserving of it?

This is where the government is heading, straight down a slippery slope of overbearing control where nothing is going to stop it if We The People do not take a firm stance and draw an unwavering line in the sand.

Step One: Nationalize Banks

Did anyone really think that this was not going to happen? First Citigroup, then… who knows? One by one, it is all coming together for the socialist administration in power.

The banking giant is in talks with the government which may result in the government controlling upwards of 40%. I cannot wait to see what Pelosi and Reid do when they get their hands on all of that money.

This isn’t all that is going on either, Clinton in China, Obama with this budget commission. Change is in the air. Stay tuned for more as I get the word as to who is doing what.
