UPDATE 2: More trouble now looming for the IPCC as their data on hurricane activity (allegedly increasing) is in serious doubt

UPDATE: In yet another turn, Reuters reports that the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) now admits “flaws” in their reports on sea level risings. Of course, their totally inept findings of 2007 do nothing to dissuade them from claiming that the “overall” report about man effecting the warming is correct. GENIUS!

In a nutshell, the number one climate scientist in the world has admitted that he did not keep accurate data records, that the medieval times may have been warmer than now and that there has not been any ‘statistically’ significant warming since around 1995. (Whatever that means.) I highly doubt that this will soothe the slathering masses from pushing forth their radical change agenda, but if nothing else we have won a moral victory here.

Al Gore Can Save The World

Myron Ebell has an article over at Icecap that everyone should read.

If we took all of Al Gore’s books and had a massive book burning, just think of how many homes in Britain we could heat! Record low temperatures are occurring around the world, and not just in the Northern reaches. This past week, Cuba set record lows as well, with temps around 5.3C.

Imagine that. Sun spot activity is low. But not only that, the magnetic field around the sun, which drives the sunspots, is at an ALL-TIME low. The low magnetic activity correlates to low sunspot activity, which correlates to cooler temperatures. Do I now qualify as a climate expert?

Of course, our Glorious Leader completely ignores the facts and calls for a few BILLION more to pump into the job-killing green movement. Is it November yet? Geez.

Government Lies To Get Agenda Passed

The EPA recently published a report that calls Carbon Dioxide, the NATURALLY OCCURRING GAS, a dangerous gas that needs to be regulated. The entire purpose of doing this is to help buoy support for Glorious Leader’s global warming agenda, the main force being the upcoming Cap and Trade bill. I would like to note that this bill is over 900 pages long and gives the government nearly exclusive control over the Energy industry.

The projected cost of this legislation is debated, with cost-per-family ranging from $140 per year to nearly $3000. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has put the estimated cost at around $1200 per year. What people do not understand is that this tax is not a straight tax. The real deal is that everything surrounding energy- which includes trucks delivering foods, heating your home, cost of gas, etc- will be affected. So, you may not see a massive increase in your electric bill but you can be sure that everything out there will rise in cost. Don’t be fooled by the numbers being put out by the administration. They are lying.

To the point about the EPA, there was dissenting opinions that were blocked. The arguments were hidden and were not included in the published report, because it would go against the ‘administrator and the administration’. Now, however, the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) has put out the unfiltered version of the report. Unfortunately I think it is a bit too late. Congress will be voting on this today (Friday, June 26th 2009). The Wicked Witch of the West wants it done and off their plate before they go on vacation. Because, as we all know, pumping millions of CO2 molecules into the air as we fly from DC to California (in order to visit donors and get more bribe money) is much more vital than actually debating and coming up with a good energy policy.

Eco-Nuts Of The Great Northwest

So, I understand how people want to limit pollution. But I ask you this:

Which is better? Wasting a precious natural resource or going over-kill in an effort to protect it?

I guess we will have to ask Washington State, where most forms of dishwasher detergent are banned because they are harmful to the sensitive ecosystems around the state. Because of the ban, people are finding that their dishes are not getting clean and they are forced to waste even more water to wash them by hand.

I say we kill the entire dishwasher industry as well as the dish detergent industry, Force them all to get ‘green’ jobs because as we all know, going green is the only way we will save the polar bears that are not really dying off in great numbers, but it makes for better T.V. if we say they are.

Give me a break. And people wonder why the prices of things are going through the roof? Keep the government’s hands off of everything. I don’t care what they want, if the touch it, they screw it up.
