UPDATE: http://hotair.com/archives/2009/04/17/dhs-ignored-civil-liberties-lawyers-warnings-on-report/ responds to those who BLAME BUSH for the DHS report. Read more here.
Our DHS Leader has embarked on her campaign to save face in the wake of serious blow back over the recent report that all conservatives should be labeled as right-wing extremists.
Why cannot government officials- ANY of them – just admit when they goofed and move on from there? Sorry, I just don’t buy their lame excuses. If a report like this goes out nationwide and she just ‘got briefed’ on it, I think she should reassess the policy of review. The language in the report was clearly vague and pointed at the right; what about the left? It was not just military, though veterans groups were clearly vocal about it.
Personally, I think it was done in lieu of the protests going on. Their way of trying to demonize and belittle those who felt strongly enough to do so.
The revolution is at hand. Will you be a leader or a follower?

I saw this interview. I noticed her tone of voice changed as she made her excuses and was hammered with questions.
All I can say is……typical… and/or IDIOT !!!
In their haste to get this typical left wing extremist Democrat propoganda out to the public to discredit the tea party participants, these intolerant and bigotted Democrats forgot to cover thier inexperienced tracks.
Blaming Bush only works for their Bush hating crowd.
The rest of the country knows Obama has been in office several months, now. So when is he going to take responsiblity for his own administration the American people want to know.
It’s interesting that Obama has not said a word on this.
He hasn’t had time, what with his Whirlwind Apologetic Tour in full swing now.
