Stupid Congress Forces Bankruptcy

It seems to me, that the more the United States Federal Government tries to help, the worse they make things. I have ranted about the flood of money being used to artificially support our economy, a plan so idiotic that only our elected officials would want to try it – and thus be able to blame everyone else when it fails, because the dissenters blocked their ability to spend even more and so it was Conservatives’ fault for putting the idea of of fiscal responsibility and small government into everyone’s head so even though massive entitlement programs have failed many times before we were sure we had it right this time, until it didn’t work again but it’s not our fault, it’s…it’s… Bush!

Whew!

However, this new government regulation is something that is incredibly MORE stupid; a regulation that could potentially bankrupt a whole host of businesses.

But as I look at it, I realize that it is all part of a grander scheme. By pretending to ‘help protect children’ no matter the cost, when this new regulation forces business to close their doors, the former employees will become dependant on government handouts. Thus, our new congress will have job-security.

Although, the 600,000 new federal employees, employees we taxpayers will need to fund forever, should have been enough to satisfy even the most hardy liberal, big-government glutton.

I guess not.

The revolution is at hand. Will you be a leader or a follower?

  1. Thanks for helping to spread the word about CPSIA! If anyone is looking for more info about CPSIA in a bite-size FAQ style, they can visit http://whatisthecpsia.com . I would also urge everyone, once they are informed, to write to their Congressmen and Senators and tell them they support CPSIA reform. There are numerous reform bills that have been proposed, but none of them will be released from committee unless there is enough pressure.
