First, in an AMAZING money-bomb day for Scott Brown, senatorial candidate in Massachusetts who has rallied from over 30 points back to a statistical tie for Ted Kennedy’s seat, where he raised over 1 million dollars, now comes the folowing story:

Senatorial candidate Marco Rubio has trounced governor Charlie Crist in a straw poll taken in Crist’s hometown and the district he represented while in the Florida congress.

Michelle Malkin called it correctly. There are certainly some prominent asshats trying to ruin our sacred land, and if we do not take a stand they will succeed. I have no doubt that these IDIOTS sit in their offices and chuckle at just how gullible and uninformed the vast majority of people are out there.

Up next into the croissfire is Connecticut Attorney General Blumenthal. This is the guy who is on a mission to extort, by any means possible, the bonuses paid to the AIG executives. The reason he gives is the most laughable, and actually the most frightening of any I have yet heard:
“Because they are undeserving of it.”

So now the government decides who is deserving and who is not? Like them or not, those men and women were under contract. What would happen to modern day pro sports if every athlete had to return his or her salary because they were not ‘effective’ in their endeavors? Granted, some of them SHOULD give them back but are you willing to say with 100% accuracy that they are undeserving of it?

This is where the government is heading, straight down a slippery slope of overbearing control where nothing is going to stop it if We The People do not take a firm stance and draw an unwavering line in the sand.

UPDATE: Kansas Secretary of State candidate calls ACORN a criminal enterprise.

Before you start screaming RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACIIIIIIISSSSST, I am not saying that an association with a radical, left-wing, fraud-promoting group is BAD. I will say, however, that a judge who will affect (or, more likely in this case effect) interpretation of the Constitution should not have any direct ties to croups like this.

However, Glorious Leader has once again proven that he cares not so much for the following of our founding document as finding people who are willing to trample all over it or, at worst, find ways to circumvent its meanings.

His first judicial appointment shows that he truly does want America to Change. His nominee actually went out and held fund raisers for ACORN. Surely the TOTUS can tell Glorious Leader to pick an actual impartial judge? Someone, say, NOT from Chicago? Unfortunately, fixing his change will be a massive undertaking.

UPDATE: I saw a brief commentary on Channel 13 News from 6-7. It lasted about 15 seconds and was the anchor with no follow up. Also, FOX 35 emailed me a response that they had reported it. Obviously it was quick, as I missed it totally. If they did report it, I apologize. It would have been nice to see a total coverage of the party.

I live in Orlando. I attended the Orlando Tea Party today and I was AMAZED at the sheer numbers of people who were there with me.

NOT ONE LOCAL MEDIA station or paper (that I am aware of) covered the event or even mentioned it on their websites. Was there ever any doubt as to the media’s role in covering up the garbage going on around us?

IDIOTS.

If you are following the news, you know that China, the ones who have been supporting our crack-like spending habit for the longest time, are beginning to show signs of fear.

If they stop buying our debt, the dollar will collapse like a stone and things here will plummet into a void from which I doubt we will emerge for a very long time. At the G20 summit, the Chinese premiere said that the United States should be cautious of devaluing the dollar by EXCESSIVE SPENDING.

Where the hell was this guy when the idiots in congress were stealing my children’s’ future?

This is just getting to be stupid. Does Obama or his team do any real vetting of people? Surely they should have known about one of his latest picks.

The office of his recently appointed Chief Information Officer, Vivek Kundra was raided and one of its employees (and one contractor) arrested on charges of bribery. When Kundra took over as the Chief Technology Officer last year, Advanced Integrated Technologies Corporation (AITC) contracts nearly doubled to $5 million. It’s CEO was the contractor arrested.

So Kundra takes over the CTO office, AITC gets $5 million in contracts and now one of Kundra’s top employees is arrested on bribery charges along with AITC’s  CEO. And, of course, Kundra has now been elevated to the Obama staff.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said the Department of Justice told the White House on Thursday morning of its planned raid, the Associated Press reports.

However, Gibbs declined to comment on whether the White House was aware of the investigation before Thursday, the AP reports.

I cannot say for sure, but it seems funny that nearly every appointee by Obama is a crook, liar, cheat, or all of the above.

Pick Your Poison

I was asked just where I got my information. To the curious, I give the following:

http://www.senate.gov/
http://republican.senate.gov/
http://democrat.senate.gov/
http://www.house.gov/
http://www.factcheck.org/
http://www.politico.com/
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/
http://online.wsj.com/public/us

And, of course, I will admit my one weakness for news:
http://www.foxnews.com/

I won’t look at other sites, though MSN adn Yahoo sometimes get my attention with a headline. Also, I use Google as my homepage and have a tab set up specifically to gather news from places like the BBC, AP, CNN, Fox, etc. I can then read the same content from rival sites.

Enjoy!
